My Stampin’ Up! story began in 2020 when I decided to join the Stampin’ Up! family after years of enjoying their beautiful products for my own cardmaking and 3D projects. I’ve always had a love for crafting — from cake decorating and knitting to pottery and basket weaving — but stamping has truly captured my heart. It’s a creative passion that continues to grow every day.

As a retired teacher, I still get to do what I love most: teach! Only now, instead of a classroom, I share my love of handmade cards and paper crafting with others. Whether it’s through in-person classes or online videos, helping others discover the joy of creating something beautiful by hand brings me so much happiness.

Along this creative journey, I’ve met wonderful friends and become part of a caring, supportive community of crafters that feels like family. I’m also grateful for the love and encouragement of my husband, our blended family of four grown children, and five amazing grandchildren — one of whom loves to help in my studio when she visits!

When I’m not in Iowa, I’m lucky to spend winters in sunny Florida, where I continue to create and share Stampin’ Up! projects. Our two cats keep me company while I stamp, design, and dream up new ideas.

Stampin’ Up! has brought so much joy, friendship, and creativity into my life — and I can’t imagine doing anything else. My hope is that Rustic Barn Cards inspires you to slow down, create from the heart, and connect with others through the simple joy of handmade cards.
