Gathering Moments

I am ready for cooler weather and thinking fall leaves and pumpkins. Here is my first fall card this season using the new Gathering Moments Together Suite.

I started with Cajun Craze cardstock as my card base. I added a Basic White layer inside the card. Then embossed a Basic White cardstock using the Gathering Leaves embossing folder. I cut a 2 inch strip of the Gathering Together 12″ x 12″ Designer Series paper and adhere the paper to the embossed layer and added to the card base. Using a scrap of Basic White cardstock, I stamped two leaves using Cajun Craze and Old Olive ink and die cut the leaves. I also used the Labeled with Love punch to create the label where I stamp the sentiment. I popped up the sentiment layer using dimensionals and popped up the leaves on the front of the card. I added a bow using Old Olive Linen Thread and attached to the leaf with a glue dot. I love linen thread which is my favorite next to using ribbon. The Old Olive Linen Thread comes in a combo pack with Early Espresso linen thread. I finished the card with Cajun Craze & Gold Dots.
